Norbert Krapf is a Indiana poet Laureate and Gordon Bonham is a regionally known blues musician. Gordon Bonham plays original songs and backs Norbert Krapf on his recitation of poems about music and other topics. Their performance will be the Big Read kickoff in the Elizabeth O'Rear Skanta Theatre on February 26th. The Purdue Extension Homemakers will be hosting a reception beginning at 6pm. They will be showcasing some of Emily Dickinson's recipes.

Jim Canary is the Head Conservator at Indiana University's Lilly library and adjunct faculty in the Henry Hope School of Fine Arts teaching Book Structures. Mr. Canary will be teaching a workshop on how to create hand-sewn journals.

Turn in an "Interpreting Emily Through Art" 4. Write a poem 5. Check out using their own library card. There will be drawing for prizes at the end of the month.

Participants have physical and mental fitness (reading poems etc.) goals. They fill out a passport to fitness as they achieve the goals and receive an entry or entries for each "leg" of the Ironman completed. A drawing for prizes will be held at the end of the month.
